Titan the Weather-Bunny

Forecasting the weather in Bristol The handsome rabbit you see is Titan, a dwarf blue lop. These days Titan is a bit older, and a bit wiser, than when that picture was taken. He lives in Henleaze, in the city of Bristol, in a very nice garden, and as unlikely as it seems, Titan is a certified genius. You would think that his life was perfect, yet his life has one flaw.
Titan is bored. Really bored. Iggy Pop, move over. Day after day, sitting in that hutch, not much happening. For hours. He is bored by his food, by his water, by well-meaning pet-toys, and eventually, even by bunny milk treats.

Titan has a lot of time on his hands, and this is where the weather comes in. Through a secret process of self-education and brilliant analysis, Titan has learned to observe the intricate nuances of nature, the gentle signs of the winds, and he can predict the weather in Henleaze better than the National Weather Service or that bald presenter on HTV.

Unfortunately, rabbits are taciturn by nature, and Titan is not given to speech of any sort. However, we can harness his expertise at predicting unseasonable downpours, hailstones, gales, and the like, because he will start eating at a frantic pace two days before the deluge. Normally Titan is (characteristically) bored by his food, even though it is Russell Rabbit, the caviar of bunny food. However, for two days before a storm -- and a big storm, one that a weatherman should be able to predict -- Titan sets to his food voraciously.

Titan is bored by many things, but there is one pleasure he never tires of: company. He likes people, and he particularly likes performing for people (just like his father). If we could afford web access for Titan including a web-cam to show all the world how much he has been eating, then everyone would know what the weather is going to be like in Henleaze.
